2019 Division and Season Information

Scarborough Little League will kick off our 2019 season with opening day scheduled Saturday April 27th (rain date Saturday 5/4).  The season, weather permitting, runs from late April to mid-June.

BASEBALL:  Practice and Games

Majors (10-12 year old, player pitch)

  • Players in Majors must be a minimum of LL age 10 and based on evaluation/draft

  • Evaluation is required

  • Typically 4 events per week (2 games, 2 practices)

 

AAA (9-11 year old, player pitch)

  • Players in AAA must be LL age 9

  • Evaluation is required

  • Typically 4 events per week (2 games, 2 practices)

 

AA Level (8 year olds, player and coach pitch)

  • Typically 3 events per week (possible 4th on rare occasion)

 

A Level (6 and 7  year olds, coach pitch)

  • Option for 6 year old players who played Tball the previous year.

  • 3 events per week, either 2 practices and 1 game, or 1 practice and 2 games. Saturdays are typically one of the game days.

 

T-BALL (5 and 6 year olds)

  • 5 year old’s MUST play Tball

  • 6 year old players who want a second year of Tball or who have not played Tball

  • Practice for the TBALL program is 1 day a week. There is 1 also one game a week, typically on Saturdays. 

 

SOFTBALL:  Practice and Games

Majors (9 - 12 year olds, player pitch)

Minors (8 - 10 year olds, player and coach pitch)

  • Evaluation is required

  • Typically 3 events per week

 

Girls Farm (6 and 7 year olds, coach pitch)

  • Option for 6 year old players who played Tball the previous year.

  • Typically 2 events per week (possible 3rd on rare occasion)

 

TBALL (5 and 6 year olds)

  • 5 year old’s MUST play Tball

  • 6 year old players who want a second year of Tball or who have not played Tball

  • Practice for the TBALL program is 1 day a week. There is 1 also one game a week, typically on Saturdays.
